What's mine worth?

Thinking of maybe selling up after just over 2 years of ownership. What is a realistic private sale price? It is a 10 reg (mar 2010) but on the 10 vin. Has sat nav, ipod etc.... Is gun metal with 19k on the clock. Owned since new and has full ancaster nhpc service history. Last serviced 8 weeks ago and put new dunlops on 2 weeks ago. Brakes are fine. All 4 wheels will need a refurb though (small nicks, nothing drastic). Has miltek y pipe as only mod. Any advice is appreciated.

Question

Well you have the best colour which also means its the fastest and most wanted.
I will hazard a guess as I have been looking at the market recently and say £42-44k?

Despite it being the slowest colour, I'd reckon £47k with spotless wheels.

Ignore the fools claiming to have t fastest colour car, I have owned two black and two grey and can confirm (from experience) that grey is certainly much faster than black.

Black WAS faster to bore my wife, hence the switch to grey. (thankfully only in relation to car colour).

£42k btw with nice wheels.

I would have them done now if I were you. I use wheel condition as an indicator of owner skill ad care.

I think you only see all of the detail in the bodywork in titanium or dark metallic greys.

Having been looking at GTR`S for the last few months,I would say you could advertise it for 42k and expect to get 40k for it, 41k if youre lucky, due to its condition and higher than the "norm" mileage and the fact its not a MY10.

What its worth? What someones willing to pay
How much do you want for it? Probably more than its worth.

But thats car ownership for you and the reason I hate selling cars!

I agree, for a 10 plate that's not a MY10 and with nearly 20k on the clock that's about right.

A MY 10 in red with 1 owner and 6,000miles has just sold by an ind nearby where I live.
The car was up for £43,995, but unfortunately I did not see the advert until the car was sold.

Only someone who owns one would say that.

There are bargains out there and good ones at that!
