Question Benfield Nissan HPC Newcastle

I'll start this one off.

I used them for my optimisation at 1200 miles and my 6 month service.

Initial signs were good. I rang at short notice for my optimisation and got a quick appointment and all was good. Even got a 370z as a courtesy car which was nice.

Second time i used them was for the 6 month service. Again service was ok but nothing special. I has spilt some stuff in the boot so needed a new boot carpet which was quickly ordered and installed with no delays but at a hideous price! Didn't get a 370z as promised as apparently another GTR owner had failed to bring it back. Bloody tossers these R35 owners eh?!

I've since modded at Litchfields and now use them for servicing as well. Better prces and a more friendly touch imo.

So i've rated Benfield as a 7/10...never done anything to pi55 me off exactly but i generally dislike Nissan due to their ridiculous prices for just about anything that you can put in or on a GTR and to be honest i've just been put off by other people's horror stories.

I do however have to go in at some point to enquire about the bellhousing and fogging headlights so we shall see...

I picked up a new GTR from these guys this week. Very impressed with the service.

Ordered the car on 10th Feb, delivered 8th March; MY 2016 to my specification. Top marks to Darren, Bronya and Richard (their GTR specialist).

Most NHPC's are when you buy a brand new car. Different story in a lot of cases when you go there for service.

True, but as a car buying experience I was impressed compared with other dealers of various marques I have dealt with over the years. I thought it would be good to share it on here so other people thinking of buying a new GTR are aware. They were also very competitive on price.

I gave up trying to buy a new GTR from the Oxford NHPC because every time I called I got the same clueless chump who took a message and it took 3 goes for them to return my call. Then when I phoned back again to discuss it further the phone was answered by the same guy, so I left another message and nobody ever bothered to call me back!

Iíll probably be using Colliers in Birmingham for service so it will be interesting to see what they are like.

I switched my 36 month service from London West to Wessex Bristol, Wessex also promised to match Litchfields price for the G2.

I'll be writing a review about Wessex once the service and warranty issues are taken care of.
