Indeed - wouldn't dream of doing it any other way.

Can anyone explain my last question re the torque drop off in the 1st graph.

The blue lines in the 1st graph are the old P700 turbos with big torque drop off. The brown are the SVM turbos which hold over 630ftlb right too 7250rpm

As Kev said, at the start it was making some massive Torque around 800ftlb but 800ftlb at 3500rpm would be useless on the road and make the TC work overtime... so i lowered boost in mid range to help with traction and looking after the box.

When im back from mapping abroad i will do a balls out run just for Kev with 1.8bar all the way across. No doubt this will then make me want to remortgage to get a built gearbox!

Thanks for the clarification.

Excuse the noob questions. What I was actually questioning is that in teh second graph the torque comes in at 3500 then climbs more until around 5500. On the first graph the torque comes in as a surge then tails off almost lineally. That's what's confusing me, obviously a missing piece of (my rather small) dyno reading knowledge.

PLease again excuse the lack of understanding and am waiting to be schooled!

What amazing results Ryan!

Those turbos are astounding.

Are these stock manifold turbos? Either way, it's a great assessment - perfect road car graph.

That said, I can't imagine wanting a different graph for any other driving conditions. Low down spool and top end power. Amazing combination!

All this is under the standard caveat about not comparing dyno plots etc etc. but when you have the consistency of same car, same operator, same dyno, it's less of a concern.

Really looking forward to the all out run.

Goes to show again, ryan knows his mapping and kev knows his engines.
We are lucky in the uk that we are not only owners who are enthusiastic about our cars, but tuners who are as well.

Certainly are worth a look.

Be interested to see how much they are.

Not convinced that the advantages of an external waste gate are no longer attractive, but that doesn't change the impressive results these are showing!

I checked my stage 4 graph, the car makes 160bhp with 410lbft at 2000rpm. These make more power 180bhp but on slightly less torque 360lbft at the same 2000rpm. So almost no noticeable loss for low down town driving, but an extra 220bhp+ at the top end.

How much are these?
