Question Recommended GTR garage in Sweden

Hi all,

I'm new here on the forum and to the world of GTRs in general. I bought my wonderful 2009 model a couple of months ago and since then have driven from Salisbury around the south of Ireland, had a track day at Brands Hatch and this week driven to Stockholm (Sweden), via the Nurburgring. And damn it the car is magnificent!

I'm going to be in Stockholm for the summer and need to find a garage to look at a couple of things. In 2000 miles or so a minor service will be due. Can anyone recommend me a garage in Sweden, preferably Stockholm? Or someone who knows about the country?

On a general note, are GTRs country specific? I.e. will a Swedish garage be able to access and do everything to my car that a Biritsh Nissan Performance Dealer could do?

Thanks in advance for yor advice. Please let me know if I've posted this thread in the wrong forum and I'll get it moved.

Cheers,
Charlie

Hi

We only have one HPC and that one is located in Gothenburg (west coast)
In the Stockholm area I would think JRM JRM RACING AB - Sveriges vassaste Tuner. Home of HKS SWEDEN. or PBZ www.http://pbz.se/ would be able to help you and further north you have Perra at 23 GTR that comes well recommended.

Hope this helps a bit

So have we. Until our competition proves how fast there builds are weīve still built the fastest GT-Rīs in Scandinavia.

Get in touch if you need some service or parts, Charlie. Happy to help!

BTW, thanks for the recommendations guys!

Nice to know someone in Scandi knows what a GTR is! I am not that often in Sweden but Denmark and Norway are regular annual haunts - are there anyone in those countries that could help if needed?

Tackar....

Thanks all for the recommendations. Right now my car just needs a service. Well, a service to check it over and fix a few bugs that have come up in the last two weeks (post Nurburgring, so kind of expected!):

- Two tyre sensors have stopped working following me clipping the two left wheels at different times. The tyre pressures are fine, the wheels and tyres look ok. I think that the sensors just need resetting.
- Low oil pressure: This warning light came on as I started the car yesterday, on two separate occasions. Today it isn't showing but it's still concerning. Will go and check the oil level this afternoon but a few days it was good.
- Squeaking brakes: I replaced all four tyres under 3000km ago and the garage said that the brake pads appeared to have 6000km+ to go. May be time for new brake pads. Over the last week the brakes have been provided a shaking sensation when used heavily.
- Clunky engine at start-up: There is a distinct clunkiness (lumpy noises/small knocks) to the engine at startup and more rattles than usual when pulling off from stationary.

Do any/all of these sound like usual GTR issues? Hope so!

I would have Perra or JRM check out the oil sensor.. whatever you do, do not go to Nissan HPC "Hedin bil".

-Tyre sensors are sensitive to physical shock, so probably need new one.
-You most likely have low oil level. Check it and top it up asap.
-Check brake pads and disc for cracks.
-Also get your flywheel house bearing checked asap.
Otherwise all quite normal after a hard day on the ring

23 GTR

I would recommend this garage as they have done many Swedish GT-R's. Their reputation is very good if you look on www.nagtroc.org
