After Warranty service

Would you still service the car at Nissan HPC after the warranty is finished? The 36month service is a major one that entails transmission oil change etc, do oils have expiry dates?? I don't really see the point of changing engine oil every 6months especially when the car has only done around 1000Km in 6 months.
Like to know everyone's opinion on this.

I wouldn't service my car during the warranty, let alone after.

I would go Litchfields annually but the 'only potential down side' is if you have a problem outside warranty you are more likely to get a gesture of good will from a manufacturer if it has a full service record with them. If you are that concerned go to Litchfields and take their warranty to cover the main essentials. I understand it may not cover things like headlamps misting up but speak to Iain for clarification. I had a Type 25 Impreza with them. Top qulaity car and service. Total respect for Iain and his team.

Is there an Australian equivalent garage like Litchfield? I am from Sydney.
