It's just a minor set back. I'm pretty sure everyone knew what your car is capable of. It's good you gave us normal guys a chance

it has ;-)

1st car over 1000bhp in EU, ran 9.5 seconds QM (reliably all last year)..

came 2nd at reisbrennen.

BAD points so far

Broke 5th gear on stock gears last year
rubber pipe/bung caused small leak - so had to abort..(not worth the risk)

if that pipe was not leaking mate you know the JUN R1 would of took top honours ..

but well done for your team, am sure issues are part of the game which you know very well.

LOL .....Boxer 185mph Gundam 207 mph Thats smoking !!

I think Gundam was having a fag at the start of that one lol testing throttle balance unfortunatly, your not really that sad to think that was a race are you?,,, The stats released by SCD
gives all Top 7 slots to SVM tuned motors i think Boxer didnt come into the top ten , Gundam ran second That's smokin
but you all know this

have fun....Real time results up soon

Firstly the video shows he spanked his bottom, but that aside boxers car is super quick considering its a fresh build and was only running 1.5 bar boost, you will always be sore over anything Iain touches its nothing new!

Gundam from what I was told was having throttle issues or something my 600 - 650bhp GT-R in my last run quite literally destroyed it but I don't think Gundam was going more than 50% throttle I'm not blind to know Gundam is certainly much much quicker than mine through the whole range.

But with the extra power does that compromise reliability, it's all well having the quicker cars but as far as I was aware this one had throttle issues and another SVM one went away in a transporter with issues as well. It might well be capable of a 207mph run (proven it can) but it's also capable of losing to a 850bhp motor and a 600bhp motor because of reliability / throttle issues.

I don't understand the arrogance seems really petty. The cars that went the fastest yes were SVM tuned but I also bet they were the ones that had the most money spent on them so if it was me and I'd spent the most on tuning, I'd expect the quickest.

Thanks for the kind comments guys but lets get things into perspective. Gundam is 1000+ hp and Boxer is circa 850. It was unfortunate that for whatever reason Gundam wasn't performing optimally when he raced me. We need to bare in mind that this is not a like for like comparison as I wasn't running race fuel and my car was limited to 7000rpm so it wouldn't be much of a comparison between the two. I'll be interested to hear what you guys think what gains could have been had in terms of mph with race fuel, delimiting, full boost and better tires as I hit 194.8 (as results will show) on the timing gear, not 185.

Let's not do this again. I thought all this crap was behind us now.

Kev, no one is laying down any gauntlets or starting tuner wars. The day was about having fun and individuals enjoying their cars.

You are claiming victories again, but again you seem to be the only one competing. Can we please drop this and not go down the path of tuner rivalry again, especially on someone's project thread.
