Had a few runs today at Bruntingthorpe for the Vmax Hypermax event. A lot of special cars turned up, Mclaren P1, F1 GTR, Enzo x2, Koenigsegg CCX, Carrera GT and many more. I had one run against the P1 and the result was rather suprising The video should be up next week on YouTube via Shmee150.

Good to meet you mate I was in the other black GTR. That P1 should really have done over 205 surely? My car (Litchfield stage 5) was on the limiter in 6th at 191mph for a long time before the beams, I think it would have passed 200 with the right gearing.

Good to meet you too mate. It was showing 211 on the dash but it went through the radar at 205, I did 209 on the last event on the radars. Not too sure about the limiter kicking in but I'm sure Iain could raise it for you, easy 200mph for you.

That's a good run, it's a shame we don't have a 7th gear like some of the other dct gearboxes.
Before I had the GTR I had a M3 DCT which was supercharged and at just over 600bhp it did over 200 mph quite easy. I'm guessing 7th gear helped.

What was the "last meet" ? I thought you didn't hit 200 trap speed @ Marham only on speedo I think you stated 212mph.

GTR will hit over 200mph on stock limiter and gearing.

We are hoping to try against the P1 quite soon with the Qashqai, although I don't think Co is slippery enough

I didn't go to Marham so not too sure what you're thinking of. I was meant to say 209 on the dash at Vmax Black of which there is a video and that was confirmed to be 201 on the radars.

Lol 1100hp would be a bit of an unfair comparison but nevertheless would be good to watch.

275/305 tyres? If so this would explain the lower top speed as this set up is smaller than stock

Yes Pilot Super Sports. 191mph on the VBox no more to give, 201mph on the speedo.
