New product - Whifbitz R35 GTR turbo kits

New product officially released is our very own turbo kit for the R35 GTR.

Garage Whifbitz R35 GTR Turbo Kit, developed using our years of experience in producing turbo kits. If you dont know already we have been producing our own turbo kits for many years, the Supra turbo kit being one of the best and most popular turbo kits on the market today.
Our kits are supplied with the highest quality components available anywhere, from our own manifolds to the Garrett GTX turbo range to the Turbosmart wastegates, we believe our kit is one of the best available in the world today.

The kit comes complete with:

2x Tubular manifolds made from thick walled 321 stainless steel, with a 5 year anti-crack warranty. Our manifolds are made to the same standard as our proven & very popular manifolds we produce for the Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline RB26. We have spent many years developing our turbo kits, with them being tested on high power road, drag, drift and Time Attack cars, our kits are tested under the toughest conditions. We have never had a warranty claim, never had a failure, never had a return on any of our manifolds.

2x Garrett GTX billet turbo range from GTX28 up to GTX35, all supplied with Tial V band exhaust housings. Garrett's ball bearing cartridge has proven its worth in the highest level of motorsports where it has been the bearing system of choice in CART FEDEX ChampCar Series, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, World Rally Championship, and most recently Drag Racing. These premier racing customers demand no less than the best in durability, reliability, and power on demand. The GTX versions comes with a billet compressor wheel boasting 10-20% gains in flow and pressure ratio compared with Garrett's non billet turbos, this means more power and faster spool up making for a much better driving experience.

Our kit comes with 3 different turbo size options to suit your needs:

GTX28 up to 850bhp
GTX30 up to 1000bhp
GTX35 up to 1200bhp

2x Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm external wastegates. This is a 45mm external wastegate designed with minimum size and maximum flow in mind. Smaller and lighter than any other wastegate on the market the new Hyper-Gate45 features a unique locking collar design for reduced size and quicker spring changes, top quality product.

Turbo oil and water lines made from stainless steel hardpipe. Unlike a lot of the other kits on the market our kit uses hardpipes for the water and oil lines, rather than braided lines, this rules out any possibility of damage from the heat produced from the turbos and manifolds.

2x 3" stainless steel downpipes with v bands at turbo end and 2 bolt flange where they meet the y-pipe.

76mm aluminium intake pipes with high flow KN air filters. Please note the air filter pipes do not accomodate the standard MAF, this can be supplied at an additional cost if required.

All silicon hoses and jubilee clips.

Current price are as follows:

GTX28 kit £7946
GTX30 kit £8270
GTX35 kit £8918

Prices inc VAT and are subject to change, see our website for the latest prices Garage Whifbitz R35 GTR Turbo Kit - Garage Whifbitz

We have an introductory offer of 20% discount on any these kits but only if they are personally fitted by us here at Whifbitz.

Any questions just ask away.

Thanks
Paul

Fitted with one of our R35 GTR turbo kits with the GTX3071 turbo option, mapped by Ryan G of 2 Bar Tuning/Syvecs the car made an easy 866bhp at the hubs on a Dynapak hub dyno with the Syvecs S8 ecu installed. This equates to just under 1000bhp at the flywheel depending on who you believe with driveline losses, that's the figure I'm going for anyway!

This figure was achieved at an easy 1.7 bar boost on pump fuel, no race fuel or any additives added. More to come if I fancy pushing it a bit with some race juice in there.

On the road the car feels very very quick, especially in the lower gears with the traction the GTR offers. I’m used to driving my 1300bhp 1250kg Supra which just spins the power away until you’re in 3rd gear, the GTR isn’t as quick top end as that but its not far off!

All in all I'm very happy, its a rocket ship!
