V-Cam

i am looking at a full build for my R34 (as per other threads)

i have been considering including V-cam in the build (it costs a fortune !!!)

for those with it is it worth the current cost??

my spec is shaping up to be

Nur engine (complete)
HKS 2530s
HKS ancillaries (oil pump etc.) and gaskets ets
aftermarket manifolds,elbows,downpipe
TS uprated injectors
Nismo fuel pump

if i do not go V-cam what are peoples opinions on cams

the car is not a daily and is for good road ( maybe later some track runs)

It does lots in the low-mid range. Perfect for a road car so you don't always have to downshift.

im looking at staying 2.6 but thinking of going V-cam

(just like the idea of keeping the 26 instead of an extra 200cc)

thanks guys though just getting all the view points before putting wheels in motion

Depends on what one you want and what day you order due to the Yen / £ rate

If I recall correctly it's around 3000£ for the cheapest version.
But it does really make a big difference.
