Chip damage Reading

56 Attachment(s)
I'm near Reading - just seen some bastid has given me a door ding and it is to the metal. Coupled with the chip I've had for a while on one of my rims, I need someone very good to fix both.

Anyone got any recommendations please?

Try these guys...

Specialised Paintwork - Contact

They are near Porsche in Calcot. I had a car park door dent on the GT-R repaired by them. Very happy with their work.

Depending on the damage to the wheel you might want to consider http://www.myalloys.co.uk in Basingstoke. They do full refurbishment of wheels. I had one of mine fixed a couple of years ago and they did a very good job of matching the colour. Incidentally, this is a multi-stage process. They stripped the wheel completely, repaired the scuff and then a three-stage paint process to get the desired result. First a black base coat, then a translucent dark-chrome 'effects' coat and then clear lacquer. My repaired wheel has a higher standard of finish than the other, original wheels.

Thanks for that. The wheel damage is literally a half inch scuff to the primer on the rim. Should mention it is an MY11 car with the silly paint finish that no one can match :) I'd be happy with a closish match as you can hardly see the issue now (and it is white primer!)

What a disgrace, I see you my beautiful car and you scratch the bodywork and the wheels!

Re the wheel mark, not being able to see it might be a function of the size of the mismatch. If you repaint the whole wheel and it's slightly different, it might be more noticeable than it is now!

I didn't scratch either!

Wheel was a hidden pot hole.

Door ding - dunno. I'm not sure it was someone. There was a very large noise as a large piece of rubber hit the car at silverstone and now there looks like a mark on the mirror above the door mark. It looks more like a stone or rubber hit it tbh.

Quite a mark :(

Try Rob from Scorpions smart repairs.
I've been using him for years, to remove dings etc
He's a perfectionist and once finished you wond be able to see any signs of any dings/dents
He covers the Reaing area, his mobile 07795 166022
Hope that helps

Cheers
Richard
