No engines were being revved, its just a chill place with lights and easy access. Can a GTR not go to MCDS at this time of night without being labelled as such

I do like me chicken :P

Its weird, because the other day i spot a GTR in a random petrol station in the sticks outside Yeovil then today, driving through Dorchester i drive past another one (which gave me a wave) then tonight GTR pulls into where im parked. Like a bus, none come for ages then they all come at once.

Haha, Keiran said he wanted to meet his mate at Mcds in Weymouth and he'd seen a white GTR there, so I thought.. white GTR / Weymouth.. good chance it'll be Dean, nice to meet you too, can't believe I met someone that spends more on petrol than me notice I pulled away gently when I left, didn't wanna be a bad influence on the younger boy racers, ahem..

That coastal road from Bridport to Weymouth seems like a great driving road, although was going fairly easy cos it was the first time I'd drove it, but better fun than my usual roads around here. Car is filthy now after driving home in all that rock salt at 7c, anyone would think they're expecting the next ice age, what a waste of money and time!

Dean, you must surely be aware that there's a long-standing joke that any loud or chavvy or boy-racer-type or Japanese-tuner-type car that is parked outside a McDonalds will be there with the youths for an impromptu rev-off? And, if one's spotted at a McDonalds then people will take the p1ss?

You need to be a little less sensitive mate. People like to yank other's chains on forums and the banter is (99% of the time) just good, honest fun.

Anyway, is the car running correctly now?

I cannot believe you have not learnt how to park the GTR yet....

White car - all wrong, barely fits between the lines
Dark car - perfect, over 2 bays (badly), no one comes close

In hindsight perhaps bit harsh and I am man enough to apologise. Don't mind me, just went to have two new front tyres fitted which they could not fit and damaged the wheel in the process.

My god, how dare another GT-R attend a car meet frequented by lovers of cars. Common as muck these GT-R production cars.

Of course, after Flynns antics ive managed to realise the worst

Its not a case of parking with boy racers, but more of a case of ive only just got the car technically as its been away at MH most my ownership, and i cant not be in it, call it the honeymoon period or what you like, but i love being in the car and driving it and going to the car parks to watch the kids admire the car.

Like i mentioned on another thread, where i said i would assume most GTR owners would be snobby and from a nice background with wealth etc, which was defended very quickly by users commenting about they never judge and also from working class etc etc, and i fear my comment may be proved right if users start coming in here and looking down on me for being out late in the car and parking at mcdonalds End of the day im not going to change who i am or how i act just because ive got an expensive car, i will still talk and act the same to people and friends like i always have regardless of my current status.

Thats fair enough you shouldn't change for anyone or a car.

If handing around at McDonalds late at night is your sort of thing then no-one should be judging you but I wouldn't let it bother you if they do.

I'm just 2 years older but am family bound now but when I was your age, I was more into women, clubs, pubs, drinking, travelling for lads weekends, stupid antics etc and I'm sure there were people judging me the same way thinking what a fool. But for me I preferred that sort of thing than a freezing car park with lots of young kids around eating burgers.

However, if McDonalds at night is your thing then stick to it, after all it is your life and if thats the sort of thing you enjoy then so be it

But i dont actually hang around in that kind of way, i only go there to let the younger guys see and admire the car, they like it and of course at the same time makes me feel good. But as ive only just got the car properly im using any excuse to be able to drive it lol.

I dont drink for over a decade now, and already happy with a family, so all this drinking falling over, being sick, falling asleep in a curb, arguing, fighting does not interest me in the slightest, i would much prefer to talk cars in a relaxed non idiotic non drunk atmosphere. But each to their own.

Otherwise most the time this is my usual night out, this was taken outside a very nice Inidan Restuarant in my local area, while me and the family had a meal

and then outside a nice Italian Resturant on the Weymouth Seafront

You say you don't go to McDonalds to hang around in that kinda way but then follow straight on with you go to let younger guys see and admire the car isn't that the ideal of the McDonalds crew and what I said about standing around in a freezing cold car park?

Sorry if I'm sounding pedantic I just don't have any knowledge of what actually goes on at 10pm - 2am at McDonalds car parks but see the cars usually parked up in them if I past by so your actually educating me.

Regarding drinking, falling over, being sick, falling asleep on curbs I can fully understand your reasoning to not drinking if this is the state of mind you used to get into or friends around did as it sounds like an awful night out. I can assure you that the venues I generally go to or places in Europe its nothing like your perception.

Maybe I need to broaden my horizons, this Friday I will participate in an experiment when I head to McDonalds at 11pm and report back with my findings on the on-goings in this dark and secret world
