Very nice mate!!

I think I'd like my exhaust tips to stick out a little further like yours are now... looks a lot better!

Been thinking about doing this to mine for a while now. "Blueing" them??

Sam88101 10th December 2013 08:09 PM

Do you mean you wan the tips of the tips blue? If you get me? Or want a blue tint to them?

Satan 11th December 2013 10:06 AM

Well the insides of mine look exactly the same and I didn't have to do a thing to get that effect:D

However, the outsides look very good. (And a lot less cleaning to worry about:thumbsup:)

Be interested to see how they hold up over time, although I think they will be fine as you have used a good process for getting there.

What did you use to finish the metal Sam, one of the ceramic heat durable paints?

Finish looks good, is it my OCD or maybe looks like you need to make the tips stick out the same distance on each side!

Nope, "blueing" is a gunsmiths term. Its a forced chemical reaction that turns steel black although termed "blue".

Protegimus 12th December 2013 08:31 AM

Ben, you can buy chemical blueing kits from most gunsmiths/shops if you want to test.
