I think I'd like my exhaust tips to stick out a little further like yours are now... looks a lot better!

Well the insides of mine look exactly the same and I didn't have to do a thing to get that effect

However, the outsides look very good. (And a lot less cleaning to worry about)

Be interested to see how they hold up over time, although I think they will be fine as you have used a good process for getting there.

What did you use to finish the metal Sam, one of the ceramic heat durable paints?

Finish looks good, is it my OCD or maybe looks like you need to make the tips stick out the same distance on each side!

Which type of paint? Finish looks good and have some bits in mind to do on my own in the engine compartment.

Nope, "blueing" is a gunsmiths term. Its a forced chemical reaction that turns steel black although termed "blue".

Ben, you can buy chemical blueing kits from most gunsmiths/shops if you want to test.
