S15 with R35 engine

Not sure if a repost but thought this was pretty cool...

Nissan GTR powered S15 - PassionFord

Also been speaking to a guy who wants to twin turbo his 370z but actually works out cheaper and probably more reliable to install an r35 engine.

This car was in Banzai the other month and was quite a good read. The guy obviously knows what he is doing and went with what he wanted rather than what people told him to.

For drifting, the S15 is not an average car. One of the best drift cars ever built. Light weight and can take an amazing amount of power. It's why S bodies are so popular for drifting.

Kango, agree with you on that mate. Oh and why not? If the fella is doing something he enjoys and building something totally unique that he is going to spank and have fun in, who are we to judge. All in my opinion of course and I'm sure some will think he is mad.

I'm glad there are people like this willing to build special motors that I can lust over and dream about lol. Keeps the world an interesting place. Some of the build threads on Pistonheads are so left field but make fantastic reading. Makes the car scene a great place and never boring.

Now, where can I find a decent S15 to turn into a drift [email protected] Might need some more drifting skill first though lol. When the mortgage is finished it's the first thing on my list to do. Buy a shed and start drifting. Nothing like this dude though as id only kill myself with that much power lol.

Nice build.

A VR38 would have been awesome in my 260Z, but I decided there would be no point as it can easily make more power than I could put down. Plus the RB26 swap is going to be miles cheaper.
