Bit late now if you've already put a deposit on it!
( I think that plate was on that Cat D that had front end damage and was advertised on Ebay a few months ago.)

Joke !

Lol a deposit subject to viewing. having had one for the last 2 years I know the things to check but you never know what the previous owner was like. I'm more interested in if the car has been modified and then demodified etc and tracked. Any info appreciated though.

I saw the car today, looks like it's not far off needing brakes and tyres. Isn't 8k miles a bit premature for all that? I'm wondering more and more about what it's done in the past. How easy is it for workshop to check the black box for a report on how many launches and high temps etc?

Very easy. HPC charged me £140 for the Flickr data report and an (brief) inspection, money well spent.

You can get both pieces of information you asked about with an EcuTek cable alone, invaluable!

I already have an ecutek cable. Will it work with a car that isn't on upgraded software? What info can I pull from the car?

8K is about right for tyres (Dunlops) and if I remember I chopped my brakes and discs out at about 10K

Sorry for a dumb question but do you need to reserve time in advance for PPI at HPC (or some skilled shop with good reputation)?

Perrin will check in the Ecutek manual to see what info is available.
Naurulokki, yes I expect you will need to book in advance - HPC's usually have limited number of GT-R tech's and for the specialist make sure they have Consult III as well as Ecutek, etc. though you will have to ask them if they can get theFlickr report for you.

Im going tonight to check out the car. Is anyone else attending the Nissan GTR MY14 chat at Nissan in Manchester tonight? If so would anyone with a consult be able to meet me there to check out the car better?

Just got back from hpc, they had the car in the air and all looked as you would expect. Agreed 4 tyres to be changed. Discs have been inspected and I'm told they look fine. Needs some minor cosmetic work and a good clean but checked it for launched with my ecutek cable and 0 recorded.
