Fire painting

I was at a fire painting event over the weekend and so thought I'd give the GTR another go.

Looks really good mate

Is it possible to do one with a wall of fire behind the car where the car has just driven through it (i.e. with fire vortices etc.)? That would be cool

That looks pretty awesome - is fire painting similar to light painting but with a burning torch then? Or is this just a digital manipulation?

The wall is made with a kevlar rope soaked in paraffin. Pretty easy to do. Not sure how to create a static firewall that could be driven through.
The only manipulation was blending a couple of photos to get some normal light on the side of the car.
The original pictures are not noisy, I think I have cocked something up when I blended them, lessons to learn.
