Removing EVAP system

Seems I'm now stage 4 with downpipes, I really don't see any point in having the EVAP system still in place so plan on removing it all. I have a couple of questions though.

Firstly, can this be done with the engine still in the car, and just removing the intake manifold for access?

And secondly, where can I get the blanking plates for them.

Any help would be great.
Cheers
John

Great stuff. I'll drop Them an email. For what the blanking plates will cost I may as well just order a set and give it a go. If it's not possible then so be it. I haven't lost much really.
