Sky engineering sump extension

Has anyone used the sump extension from sky engineering

Sky-Engineering RB26DETT race, drift, drag and street oil pan incl. baffles and extended oil pickup, 9 litre, THE ULTIMATE IN RB OIL CONTROL! | Engine parts | Sky-Engineering.com webshop

It looks well designed with trap doors instead of the typical Tomei style baffle and it seems good value. I also like the fact it looks water jet cut.

Has anyone used one

Skylinesusky on here has one, he visits the ring a lot so it must be pretty good as that track is hard on cars I would think.

I have a similar design sump for sale if your interested.

It's an engine job really. It would take me about a day and half to swap a sump.

Na , you can leave the gearbox in place and just remove the engine.
That's what I have done, several times

I would have to get it welded, but I use some sh1t hot welders, trust ect still also need a significant amount of welding to weld the box they provide to your sump.

It's for a new engine for me that is already out and sitting on an engine stand.

Looks like no one has tried the kit then?

I'd do my research on JONNE and Sky engineering before parting with any cash.

Loads of threads about him in the moderators forum. Personally speaking, I'd be looking elsewhere rather than buying off this guy.

I don't like the trust sump as it sticks below the cross member, my second choice will be raw brockerage or rips (they look identical)

Doesn't look good, I'll email him and ask if this is in stock for immediate delivery. If it is I may chance it my credit card or PayPal or both

This doesnt help. He always say "its in stock" and than you have to wait half year or more. Dealed or better had problems with him near a year. Wasted time... Never ever more Jonne
