Looking for something slightly cheaper though, R888's would be nice but I don't really need semi trackday tyres as this set of wheels is strictly for road use.

Cheers

Hankook Ventus evo v12 are my choice for street tyres, best value for money.

I'd ditch em though If I could get my hands on Dunlop Direzza Star Spec's in EU!

Does anyone use Nitto NT-01? I'm going to try 275/35/18. Specs look promising.

They dont even have the re11 or re55.

So I ordered from the USA, Toyo R1R. I hope they are good for track. R compound tires.

Yeah read some reviews on that. Question, it has a 140 rating while the r888 is between 60 and a 100.

So it should have better wear characteristics than the r888 or other r compound tires?

Most UK road tyres are 280-320. Of coures r888 must be least rating because its a slicks. But r1r - semi slicks have lower rating than the standard tire.

The Porsche GT3 RS come with super cups I hear. So since my car will not be a dd and just for track, I will be happy if it will last 5k kms.

So maybe it will last me two years.

Had Nankang NS2R semi slicks on mine. Excellent in the dry, obv had to be careful in the wet but they weren't atrocious.

That's an impressive 6yr thread bump Neoncypher!

I'm currently running Hankook Evo 2 (Hankook Ventus S1 EVO2 K117) in 255/40 and 275/40 and I cant fault them for the price. To me at least they perform similar to my previous Goodyear Eagle f1 asymmetric 2's.

I see that Toyo and Goodyear were in a close fight. By the way, I got Toyo proxes that I ordered online from 4wheelonline.
