Sidelight problem

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before - my front passenger sidelight bulb started to flash off and on, like every second - i changed the bulb and for a few days all seemed ok - now the new bulb is doing the same thing - flashing on and off every second.

Anyone had this problem - and know what the root cause is?

Car is a sept 09 model.

Thanks

Is it a conventional bulb or led?

If it's cheap LEDs then they often have this problem, maybe worth spending a bit more if this is the case? Osram, PIAA, etc

I have tried selling several brands through my retail stores & now only PIAA & Osram.

Yeah maybe - thought it weird though the nature of the flashing every second, which didn't seem like a random loose wire - but will check wiring again just in case

Thanks

Ok - I'll go back to a conventional bulb first to see if that cures the problem - then experiment with better led bulbs

Thanks

Sounds like dodgy bulbs as said, go for smd bulbs they are much brighter and last longer in general.
