mfd screen not powering up

hi all
i just imported a r34.i notice that the mfd screen is not powering up
any suggestions on what to check to find fault
any help is appreciated

No image at all ? any cracks ?
Can you see the "GT-R" logo on start up ?

Next step would be to disassemble the MFD and check that ribbons are properly plugged.
After that you can try to power up the screen alone and see what happens.

checked all fuses
everything seems ok there
looks like i need to get an auto electrician to check wiring
not easy when living in Swaziland

checking ribbons and powering screen is easy.
Next step would be to determine if it's the screen that's knackered or the mfd board. Or both.

Or maybe the light source is knackered, not sure how they're lit, tube or LED.

When I had this a fuse on the board had burnt out. I went through buying a new screen first and it made no difference! So you will need to dissemble the complete thing and inspect the board itself I am afraid.

Fixing the board fuse is very tricky, I paid a technician at my uni and was lucky, but suspect mostly people just buy a replacement.

Hi all.thanks for all the help
Issue resolved. It was the fuse that needed to replaced.
I had to totally dismantle unit.fuse attached to back of display
Got a mate to resolder new fuse
Added bonus , it turned out to be the nismo mfd.
