Finally Completed, fully Knightracer Kit

After the bodyshop breaking the front splitter months ago, and having 3 quarters of the kit fitted bar the front splitter. They have finally sourced the front splitter and completed the job. I am happy with the results, all I wanted was the whole car white

Been through this many a times

White painted onto metal and onto plastic will give that effect, don't forget the kit is also carbon fibre. As standard on a white GT-R the mis match of paint from the metal to the rear bumper is extremely evident. Worst it has been seen on is White Audi R8's

Next time you see a White GT-R or R8, look close at where the rear bumper meets the body. At first all the white Gt-Rs I viewed I assumed had been resprayed. After viewing 4 different white ones, I then realised they are all like this.

Only way to get any perfect match is a wrap.

I had the same issue with a white M3 Bumper, 3 body shops said its they would have trouble getting a perfect match.. Yet another place said they could do it no problem, it just takes time and effort

Which even the factory finish don't take the time and effort Sad to see.

Also I challenge and raise them to do it on carbon fibre kit

Fair do's Dean, I can see what you mean WRT the rear bumper (Same as the one I just sold) but the lower section(s) looks a different white altogether in both pics you posted.

Did you not like the carbon against white contrast?

I notice this on my white one and a few other white ones I have seen now,
Btw it looks great!

Thanks OSKI appreciate it, I been through alot of £'s and heartache to get this done with hiccups along the way, like I said I am more than happy at the overall result and overall look of the car.

Regarding Carbon Fibre, no I am not a fan of it in the slightest. But all I could find back then were carbon fibre kits and luckily Knightracer cut me a deal too.

Why would carbon be any different to paint?
KR carbon is wet lay from what I've seen so it should be very easy to paint.

Never thought I'd say it, but the GTR looks too bland. It needs some contrast other than the wheels and tyres.

If you're happy, that's all that counts.

If we all liked the same thing, world and GT-Rs would be very boring

Personally I think the original black parts are very tacky and should only be done for budget cheap cars. I like the way the whole car looks as one now all the body etc. Especially the rear, with the rear bottom the same colour you get more of that supercar savage look. Just want to get the black inserts now above the exhausts.

Like this, now this, this is pure "SEX" so gorgeous.

I gotta say I don't like it, id much prefer it in carbon fibre, somehow it doesn't look right also makes the car look to tall as its all the same colour.

As long as you're happy Dean that's all that matters as you say, if we all liked the same things it'd be very boring.
