Thanks for the advice

Thanks Oilman,

Im renewing my oilpump in a few weeks (i didnt have the parts when I had the service - but thats life).

I might go for the Silkolene Pro 15w50 - I presume this is better than the Castrol Edge for life & performance????

Cheers,

D

The Pro R is great stuff, but if the car is a daily drive the Pro S 10w-50 is better as it will flow faster when and from cold.

Cheers

Guy.

Hi!

I think 110degc was the last run.
I have just made one run in the car and i was just using 60% of full power.
And the run was very short.

The oilman told me that in cold and warm engine if you use 10w60 sunuco
you have much better lubrication.

What do you think?

Regards

Mats

I wouldnt go 10w-60, its just not needed at those temps.

Over here for cars and engines like this we recomend 15w-50 or 10w-50 ester based synthetic, the SAE60 is just a tad too thick when hot.

Can you get any brands such as Silkolene or Motul?

Cheers

Guy.
