R33 Mirror not folding + Auto folding solution

Hi all,

I have a R33 Gtr and the passenger side wing mirror folds and unfolds perfectly electronically Using the switch, however the drivers side does not.

Is this a common fault on the car and can it be fixed by just changing the internals, without replacing the whole mirror unit as i wish to keep the original painted mirror?

Does anyone on here sell a module that i could connect to the auto mirrors, that would automatically close them when the car is locked and open when the car is unlocked as i really like the Mercedes style folding mirrors?

All your help is much appreciated

There was a module available a few years back, a search might locate one, however if the mirror isn't folding it could be the motors, not the switch.
