u spoke to dealers? what specs have u been given? whats the ETA? and IF it has stop/start forced EU option = I dont want one!! ha ha

Anyway - the hydrid tech, instant torque kick in the face style is really interesting! the R35 does this very well as is, I can only imagine how good a rumored 800bhp hybrid by Nissan would be! After seeing the recent teslar incarnations, really kicking ass for acceleration. Great fun!

I've had a deposit down on one since June 2014, originally told sept 2015 delivery date. Spoke with the dealer last week, no details at all on spec and they are still saying the first will be delivered before 2016 to the UK.

If that's true they are going to work magic getting the specs finalised with customers, getting them to the factory in the US, getting them manufactured and then getting them shipped over.

They gave me free tickets and hospitality at goodwood with a promise of an NSX being there. In the end there was a mock up of a car in a box in the air in the Honda stand, zero details and not allowed to get past a cordon to see it.

I have been given no spec details on the R36. They know nothing.... From reliable sources it will be a hybrid and quick.... I have UK build slot 1.

NSX looks like a super car. Sounds like a hybrid and will hopefully be a lot of fun. I will wait till Adam has modded it to stage 666 and then buy it off him when he starts his underground, electric lift, dehumidified and fully automated phone prepped garage.

Looks nothing like a Gtr to me. It's much lower it's wider and a lot shorter.

You need to look at the other views.

>550bhp

3.5 v6 dry sump vtec-a direct injection twin turbo. Three electric motors. One between the engine and the rear mounted 9 speed dct, then one more in each front wheel.

About 120 lbft off the line at zero rpm for launching.

No front diff, no centre driveshafts, lowest centre of gravity in its class and about 1600kg predicted weight.

$155k +

Comes in red black blue white and met wine red. Leather and or alcantara in black, black/red, beige or baseball colour. Carbon roof and other carbon interior trim available. Choice of wheels neither of which looking anything like those on the LFA above.

Limited production of 200 in the first year. Deliveries in the UK were not supposed to be before March anyway so not sure if the six month delay affects those.

Now that they've capped production to a lower number, I'm not sure they'll honour the 100 UK customers they promised.

I count three in this forum that I now know of.

All that sounds very much like speculation...

I said that the wheels on the red NSX above look similar in style to the LFA picture that I posted.

Im talking about the nsx, not the gtr. None of the above is speculation other than the weight. All the other points are information released by the manufacturer when the car was announced in detroit in january and subsequently.

I know, as am I.... its just strange Honda wont confirm any of that now, allow people to see the car (who have been waiting for ages), just all seems a little thin. Honestly sounds like they couldnt get it all to work for the budget they wanted and are trying to hype up the release so that they can up the price.
