My 36 Month Service - Wessex Cribbsway
This is a quick review for my 36 month G2 service inc. Optimization and first MOT that was carried out at Wessex Nissan - Cribbs Causeway.
Previous Services: My car has had all its yearly services at Nissan, this has been for Warranty reasons, as there’s always something I need to get looked at and it just makes sense taking it to Nissan to take care of both. I have an interim service every 6 month which is just an oil change and clutch learn and use Sly from Kaizar for this (ex Nissan GTR Technician). 36 Month Service Search: A few months ago I started to consider where to service my car for its 36 Month Service, I contemplated using Sly or Litchfields but I also wanted to take care of an issue with my DRL’s and the cars first MOT. The most convenient option for me was to find a good NHPC. I had used Nissan London West in the past for Warranty works and wasn’t too pleased with the lack of communication from their part when the car was with them. After some digging around I came across Wessex Nissan Cribbs Way, who also happen to be registered as a trader on this site. I sent over a PM and was greeted by Claire Andrews who is the Service Manager at Cribbs Way. I explained to Claire what I’d like done to the car and the Warranty issues I want looked at. Claire agreed to price match Litchfields G2 service like for like inclusive of the drive line fluids (Diff and Tranny), as you can imagine I was pretty chuffed with this. I was asked to send over pictures of the DRL’s (Water droplets) so the replacements could be pre-approved prior to me taking my car down. I was also asked if I need a loaner car and what my requirements would be, I opted for Juke as the Mrs may want to get one later this year. On the day: On arrival I was greeted by Andy Edwards who works in the Service Team, I was offered the usual tea and biscuits etc and it was straight to the paperwork. There appeared to be a small mix-up as the loaner car I was about to be loaned was a Nissan Pulsar and not what I requested, I made Andy aware of this and within the space of 5 minutes I was given the keys to a 65 plate Juke that only had 40 miles on the odometer. I was greeted by the GTR tech (I requested to meet him and show him round my car) after a lengthy chat I felt confident enough to leave my car with him. I was a little picky and asked him to make sure the oil level is just below the max dot when it’s replaced. (Nissan NHPC previously had overfilled) My replacement DRL’s were also approved in advance of me turning up. Collection Day: I arrived at Cribbs Way with the Mrs and was met my Andy, he sat with me and went through the invoice showing me the breakdown for the service. I made sure the drive line fluids were changed, the items were listed on the invoice. In my discussions with Claire, I requested for the car to be washed but the interior not to be touched. I was happy to find my request was obliged. I was given a lovely Key ring, air freshener, and a 1 litre carton of Mobil oil that was neatly placed in the boot. (Yes, I like the little things, they matter to me) Oil lever was exactly where I wanted it, new DRL’s were in and the bumper refit was spot on. Overall the experience was great from start to end, I was well looked after and so was the car. I had a Blackvue fitted to the car recently and it was nice to see my car not being trashed around during a test drive after reviewing the footage, which can be quite tempting when you’re behind the steering wheel of a GTR. I Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and will probably use them again for my 48 Month service as I still have warranty till May 2017. Technician test driving the car ![]()

Excellent info and sounds like it was a good experience. I am planning on taking my MY13 there later this year for its service and first MOT.

Give Claire a shout mate, ask about the price matching offer. Yours will be G2 with drive line fluid change, make sure you get these done too as part of the service.

They're new to the forum and not many decent NHPC's around, so thought I'd do a propper write up for my experience.

Hope London West Park Royal and West Way Mill Hill read this and learn a thing or two.
Customers travelling 100 miles for a service when they are 20 mins away from you. Shame on you. Still waiting for a phone call back from John at Mill Hill regarding a pending 20 month warranty claim. No surprise that both the above dealers were involved in the claim. Purchased all 3 GTR's from Mill Hill and a Qasqai. Will never do business with them again. T
