Seems Cameron has now resigned.

Edit: I wonder if he's taking the £120Bn from the FTSE with him?

Bajie, that's an understatement!
I might look like an idiot at the end of the day, but having had a smattering of experience with the city, than ran GBP up last week and shorted it once others started buying precisely to sell it down on low volume on a Brexit vote and will profit take all day.

I reckon Close at $1.4odd today which would be typical for 2016.

I had £100 on Leave at 4/1 a month ago. I can't retire on £400 but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick !

I think the £ and the ftse will be heading in the right direction by the end of the day.

I've also heard that Boris said previously in the event of a brexit vote we should go back to renegotiate.

My most preferred option would be to stay within a fully reformed Europe. I wonder if the threat of Union collapse will force it to really consider a ground up reform.

How can you make a statement like this when all we want is a better country?

That's hardly selfish

We can actually thrive and prosper now the chains have been cut!

The £ is only just below it's lowest point it's been at during the last 12 months anyway now and the FTSE is still way about it's 12-month low.

As you say, it's not as bad as everyone was predicting. In fact, on the BBC today, UPS (not parcels !) were predicting at 18% fall on opening.

If chuck was running things, we'd have nothing to worry about, although isn't he a public face of the NRA? I'm no fan of theirs!

Again it was scare mongering and speculation to drop the value of the pound. Usually done by the remain camp.

Great reassuring speech from Mark Carney - BOE

I find it interesting the European stock markets are dropping harder than ours.

I wouldn't be surprised if the EU begins to collapse with Holland and France who are already considering their own Hexit and Frexit.

Wow, what a crazy morning. Feels very strange, waking up from days of Rain to Blue skies, sunshine and a Leave Vote. Very spiritual.

The stone has been cast into the pond and we won't be able to see our true reflection until the Ripples die down. The pound had been crap for nearly a year now so another and although it's a big single drop, it's fallen much further over the last 24 months.

It IS a selfish decision....by millions of people. That in itself must make you consider the definition of selfish.

Yes very interesting what happens next.
With one of the countries that puts money in leaving there are going to be a lot of EU citizens thinking they'll have to dig even deeper now.

The worst thing about this morning is the sanctimonious and condescending reactions of the Remain voters. Apparently we are are all ignorant, racist morons.
