Nismo bonnet ... need your openions

lately I've got my hands on this bonnet

I'm not going to install it now since I have so many thing to do first and at the end I will take care of the exterior (z tune fenders, bumper, sides and rear)

I can't decide between painting it to match the car body color (KR4 sonic silver) or doing something out of the norm and clearcoating it.

to me, painting it will make my car a z-tune replica (I don't really like replicating stuff) since I have also ordered a set of 10.5j lmgt4s while clear coating it may make it look a bit cheap ?

what do you think ? share your opinions in the comments and untill then here are some eye candy

thanks !

Have it colour coded on the outside.

Beautiful piece; really is.

Only on a black BNR34 could you possibly get away with leaving the bonnet in its natural dry carbon finish.

Check my thread to see my bonnet.

Never leave it unpainted lol. However, you could maybe mask off the slats/vents to leave them carbon or some other subtle area like maybe the edges of the vents enough to show that it is real carbon without looking tacky!

The bonnets are on a 4-6month lead time from Omori

we have 2 on order.

as for the OP,

dont leave it as it is, just paint it. it looks much better.

& get the optional bonnet part as well for the airbox.

your car is nicely done ... the funny thing is that we have some similar parts. I have a set of ce28n's 19x10.5s also in the store lol. and the quality on this bonnet is superb with no doubt!

Paint it. Leave underside visible carbon perhaps.. bit of a nice detail when you pop the bonnet?
