Love the car, front wings look amazing, hoping to send my 35 over to jurgen in the coming months for an ets 4.1 stroker build, anybody got any experience with these kits?

LOL! Typical Daily Mail shenanigans!

They love reporting crap, and have so made it out to be what it wasn't!

Oh well - you know what they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity - The Kream boys will be loving it.

On a side note - I took the car to Santa Pod last Friday to run for a laugh.

Managed back to back 9.9 second runs on pump fuel without any 'special tweaks' from my tuner, and then went on to run 9.6 with some ethanol thrown in.

Its just a bit of fun for me really - and just to confirm that I have built an 'all rounder!' I'm not interested in chasing further figures by removing rear wings, stripping weight, dedicated drag wheels etc. The car is seriously fast and feels savage in all applications. Its built to be a stupid fast street car - so will always be seen and compete in full trim and street tyres.

as a side note question, How reliable are 800/1000bhp R35s? I was thinking of 800+ next summer (it's being forged this winter) , But i use mine as a daily as well. So would rack up the miles as well as obviously spirited driving.... thanks.

This car is seriously epic. The accents, details just lift it up another level.

As for 800+ hp reliability.
Mine isn't hitting numbers like Rockys but it's 850, forged and has been on hybrids since December '16. It's run 700lbs + since I've had it - 14 months and I've done around 12000miles and TOTB.
No dramas ... YET.
I do a 320 mile round commute to work occasionally and it gets plenty of WOT when safe.
New brake discs last month and 2 front tyres, servicing. Nothing more.

It still gives me the sweats when it's pinned in 2nd to 4th - plenty enough for me. Well.... If (most say when'!) it ever needs a new box then it will get a bit more on the map...

This car is insane! I hope sometime that I will have the pleasure to experience a GT-R like this, especially one with the EFR turbos and the supporting mods necessary for full attack!

Here we are in the new year - and some more plans for G2GUV

I haven't had the chance to update this thread lately, but the car has been performing extremely well. It won a couple of trophies late last year at a Devon drag racing event which was nice, and also made it onto the front cover of Japanese Performance Magazine - December 2016.

I keep breaking my split rim wheels on this car - and have come to the conclusion that split rims should not be used at this sort of power level. So the all new Rays G25 EDGE wheels (as launched at SEMA) are now on order in custom fitment and expected to be with me in April this year.

Even though the car is perfect for everything I need right now - modding is an addiction and I simply cannot stop myself.
I'm making a journey back up to JM Imports later this month to take things up a another level or two. On my shopping list so far are Race Heads, Loads of Ceramic Coating and a few other trick bits. Hopefully that will be all for 2017 - lets see!

What a cracking car! Love the front wings. What mileage did your car have on it before JM did the engine work?
