The reason for this post was to show that if you try to run over 1000 bhp
with a set of 1000cc injectors you wont have a engine very long.
If you look hard enough you will find some cars have been quoted to have
a good bit over the magic 1000 bhp figure
Yes, and these cars are?

Quote:
Yes we will have over 1000 bhp not bull$hite numbers either
If they are not bull$hit numbers then we'd better see some dyno graphs then eh.

Quote:
I seen that on a post you said that you were running your engine with
your 1000cc injectors flat-out with a pair of 2835 turbos did you have
1000 bhp Not a chance but you would like everyone to think so
I have never claimed to have 1000bhp, the fact is we run 149mph terminals with 1600+ kilos, you do the maths.

Quote:
If someone goes faster than me so what,I will just try and better it again
like what I did with your record
oooh.... your starting to sound like me 2 years ago Keith, truth is you should have done it a year before me but you didnt, you did it a year after

Quote:
If anyone feels the need to use Nos to better my record then go for it.
It only makes us look better that we can do it on race fuel
NOS is neither cheating or easy to use well, in any case, who is using it to beat your record? looks like Ron K only has to eat salad the night before and your record is a distant memory, and in a heavy car - I wont be using NOS btw.

Rod Bell does not need a banner word of mouth is the best
advertising you can get.
Word of mouth advertising by people who are sponsored to do so is not quite the same now is it Keith.....

Out of interest

Keith
why do you consider NOS to be any more of a 'cheat' than using race fuel ?
surely its the ET that matters ? Ron drove his car to and from the pod, when did you last go to Tescos in yours ?

Thumbs down

You guys crack me up. If only you were more like the Japanese. They don't argue and hide behind a computer....they cooperate and have a bit of friendly competition. "Friendly" being the operative word.

I think you should all stop blabbering on and get out there and record all those miraculous times your new cars are supposed to achieve. Then maybe come in here with hard facts to argue but enough with this whole "roll on 2006" b0llox. It's gotten sooo old much like the continuous innuendoes, tuner vs tuner crap and personal attacks. And don't come here and say it's all a bit of banter....we all know it isn't.

If it was up to me this thread wouldn't have lasted past Keith's first post.

The fact that you think I had to use it to make the power amuses me, considering I know the truth ( that we didnt ), I'd be nervous too if I were you. Anyway, I am only running a T51, theres nothing to worry about, you have ' no bull$hit power ' to fall back on.

So, again, to confirm :

Who has claimed over 1000 with 1000cc injectors?
You will never claim a power figure from your engine as you dont need a dyno.
You are miffed as to why a full weight car and run within a tenth of you, what should you do? Oh! I know, more power! Nice

Tim, its an excuse to use if you get beaten, he's planting the sead, whilst he is doing one, I will, mine is ' you cant race with ginger hair, thats cheating '. haha.

Dino, I dont cut in on your conversations, this 'banter, personal attacks and general serious competitive nature ' - to sum up - are part of what we get from the community, personal insults are fab fun, this place is bloody boring without some scandal.

By the way, we are not Japanese, if we were I would have had rice for lunch and spent the afternoon in a Kareoke bar, but I didnt, I had a sandwich.

Andy, a forum is not a place for "personal conversations." We have things called phones for that (or PM if you must use a computer). If you post a thread on a public forum then all registered members have the right to post. Or am I missing something?

Anyway you all know my opinion now.

I'll p1ss off and let you up to your "fun"

And BTW....the guy over on the other thread doesn't need a banner. You don't need to pay to talk the truth

Hi Tim

When my car is finished i will do something like 800 road miles
to run the new engine in
I also take it out for a blast most weekends if the weather is fine
so yes i do use my car,no point spending all that money for it to
sit in the garage.

Keith
