Display Fault

Anyone had any experience of fixing the display lighting?
My backlight for the fuel gauge flickered for about a week then packed up all together.
I guess it must be a dry joint on the dials circuit board, has anyone fixed this themselfs or is the only way to remove and send away to a specialist to fix?:(

Quite a common fault. I can offer a while you wait service where i replace your cluster with an exchange unit so you aren't without your car. There are a couple of upgrade options to colours or a Nismo look too. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
