Squeak when changing gear up to odd gears

I went for a test drive today in a 2009 car with stage 4.25 upgrades it also had updated clutches.
When driving on part throttle and only when changing up from 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th there was a squeak coming from the gear box.
The guy said it was something that could be fixed with the gearbox software as the clutches have now bed in.
How true does this sound?
On a hard pull through the gears no noise is heard.

If he can fix it, let him do it before you buy it.

I have the very same and it's a clutch piston clearance issue. Whoever installed the clutches could do with redoing it

Btw the R35 uses wet clutches so bedding in is a misnomer.
