Stage 1 to 4.25?

Currently on stage 1 litchfield but want to go to 4.25..

Am i right in thinkin i only need downpipes and my y pipe and injectors and intakes??

As been told rear section of exhaust is good for upto 750 bhp!!

Or do i need some sort of 4" rear section aswell?

Andy

That would require a Litchfield shoe shiner conversion. £5856.86.

Don't need rear section, the std one is perfectly adequate.

The show shiner is a waste of time, you won't be able to afford shoes once you start modding this car

Well Litchfield list exhaust as stage 4 and downpipes at 4.25 but my friend has over 700hp with pipe DP and stock back box and the noise isnt too loud for track days if you want to do them.
Add air freshner fro 4.27

Add a shit ton of carbon and you gain at least 222bhp, E8 plans to do this

I run a stick back back box at stage 4.25 and it's as quick as any other 4.25 car with a brain shattering exhaust

I'm at 4.25 but plan to go rods and pistons. Problem is, it still limits you to around 600tq due to the gearbox gear sets.

I don't want to be getting into box Upgrades so I'm not sure now. But I've seen way too many rods through the block to not want then doing, even at stage 4.

Just do the upgrade and then deal with the box as and when it breaks, it's not like when the engine shits itself

Is the exhaust perfectly capable then? As seen litchfield even on stage 2 say about a milltek rear box and air filters. No need i take it?

Stock system will work.

You can always make the same power by upping the boost slightly.

Purpose of aftermarket exhaust is to improve volumetric efficiency which means you can make the same power at lower boost or more power at the same boost as a less efficient car.

Would be good to hear a tuners opinion - you may not see a out right power gain but you may see gains in different parts of a dyno graph - the oem is quite small bore 2.75" from Y pipe back to the divider section , this link is worth a look at

Thats fine but @ 5300rpm you cannot make more boost the wastegates are at 100% duty on stock turbos
