Sorry to hear it has happened to you..
Thanks for the concern - appreciated. Nothing p1sses me off more than needless damage to my cars... Although when something goes wrong and that gives me the chance to upgrade the part that failed, that does soften the blow somewhat - at least then its money well spent!

Spooky! maybe it only happens to silver ones...

I wasn't travelling quite that fast [but not too far off…] (private road officer)

Once me and Gareth work out a way to fix them securely - I will post up the results.
The main hurdle will be to find a way to fix it in properly and still allow you to change the bulb!

In my mind the GTR32 is a classic and by putting chav lenses on it takes some of the class of the car away, I mean a mint 60s Aston Martin with a GT spoiler and flared arches would take some of the class of the car away in the same way

roguejackal : Since when did clear = chav ? and how can you compare a subtle change to the colour of the indicators with a GT Spoiler?!? - Oh well each to their own I guess...

On the subject of my mishap last week [where the indicator fell out at considerable speed]

I can confirm that SUPERDENT are bl00dy brilliant!

My offside wing had 5 or 6 reasonable sized dents in it [due to the indicator flapping about in the wind after it fell off] and the super dent guy came round spent an hour on it [cost £60] and it now looks perfect... How good is that... No new wing, no filler, no painting he just popped it back out again.

Presumably his life was made easier due to easy access [as the indicator is missing] coupled with the fact that the front wings are reasonably thin Alluminium.

Same thing happened to me, with my clear indicators, must give dentmaster a ring to sort mine out too, sounds pretty reasonable.
cheers

Hence why the clears are a little chav.

As has been said before, it wouldn't be so bad if they looked like factory clear indicators, but the quality of them is dreadful and imho cheapens the car. It's a bit like the afterburner and lexus light cluster brigade, they replace high quality factory items with shite which degrades the car. In this case, the crap fit results with a series of dents! Another reason not to have clears!

Nito (sorry, sorry! flame suit on)

I shouldn't like the clear ones, but I don't think mine (white) looks too bad with them on.

That said, it has the orange ones on it now ...

clear lense, unless you have an orange car, then orange will look better!
But each to their own at the end,you should mod a car to what you want, and not give a fiddle about what other people want, cus its your car, not theirs.Whats the point in modding a car to what other people like, when in the end you know what you want!
there my 2 cents
