Bloody deer

So I have only had my car a couple of months and I have already bumped it getting it out of my garage, first time for any car I have owned so why did it have to be the GTR? Anyhow after a spirited drive around 6pm and a trip to the ring a week away I hit a bloody deer! The car hit the deer straight down the road for a good distance as I was doing 60..anyhow I now have the pedestrian impact lights permanently on and the front is looking a little sorry for itself. When I get back to the uk I shall try and share the lovely 1080p footage of said incident. I am trying to avoid using my insurance as god knows what that will do to the premiums, have already sourced a new bumper but if any of you guys have the carbon insert, front badge and grill for sale please get in touch....

are you sure the deer was bloody before you hit it? More likely to have been afterwards

Defo going to cost a "buck" or two to fix, I bet you felt your "hart" stop when you clobbered it! It really is "stag"gering how much damage they can do!

Well there are a couple I haven't heard.....seriously though I have absolutely fallen for the car and it's a magnet for bad luck. Have had a lot of people come up and ask about it when I'm doing tyre pressures or filling up. When it comes to replacing it, I already know it just has to be for a newer one....absolutely love the new face lift...

I think that is all of ours worst nightmare, it is mine anyway, and it's just luck that we don't hit them more often, although I do wonder if the titanium exhaust I have helps scare them away because they hear me coming from half a mile away.

Did you have cancelors already fitted, or did it pop the bonnet too?

Ouch, that looks nasty. The road in that pic looks quite open, surprised they didn't see it coming.

I'm not an expert but I'd say that deer is beyond repair. Cat A!

I would have expected to see more damage to the front of a gtr if it had hit a deer in the picture shown. Await picture of OP to compare, although don't want to look too closely!
