New

Hi All, I have just put a depo down on my first GT-R 09 plate, looking to collect it next Saturday. I will probably have lots of questions in the coming months but for now a couple. Do the 09 ones have Aux or USB? And secondly are the front side light bulbs 501 (t10 canbus ones of eBay will do the trick) and finally what are the number plate bulbs are they also 501?

Thanks to all and nice to meet you all.

Most bulbs are 501 I believe, Not sure on side lights
Knight racer do a pack which I bought it included all of them only issue is at night when driving they somehow give a slight light but its dull not sure why

rear numberplate I bought these - they were great a lot brighter
LED Licence Number Plate Light For Nissan 370Z R35 GTR Cube Tiida Infiniti G V36 | eBay

another good one is the reverse light upgrade makes it stand out at night cant remember which bulb

not sure on AUX and USB sorry - as I got a MY12
EDIT - reverse http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-15SMD-W...AAAOSwnHZYUDD9

Hey all awesome day picked her up today had a slight issue with insurance as I was going to be a named driver but ended buying my own £2800.

It's insane already got into a race lol. I have a couple of questions though. Do they normally click and clunk when gear changing not loud at all I guess I'm just being over board.

Also the gear boil oil & engine oil pressure just flickers up and down on the bash with all the dials, is this normal? I guess it can't have Muh of an issue as I've driven it 150 miles today.

Lastly when in reverse up a hill it's jerky and it feels as though something is engaged then comes out again only on lift throttle press.

Any ideas a people. I did read somewhere that you could spend forever and a fortune trying to get rid of noises so it's not worth it.

Thanks.

Looking for suggestions for body styling so far booked in for light smoked tints all around, obviously engine wise I'm going 4.25 with GFB BOV's

Thanks

For the sidelights use PIAA H-222 Xtreme bulbs, the cheap LED melt and fall apart due to the heat inside the headlamp unit.

Wish I knew that before my LEDs had ... melted and fallen apart!

In one lamp I now have three fragments of the LED sitting there and in the other... nothing at all - wonder where they went?

Old style bulbs now been re-fitted.

Welcome.

If you add the 2 above together that's why your paying £2800

Try the PIAA bulbs, you can get them on Ebay at a reasonable price, they are a nice bright, white light and I've had mine in for several years now with no problems.

My 09 car does the same when reversing up a slight hill. Think it's just the clutch engaging.

Only had my car a month and I was worried about all the noises etc but you soon just hear them and not worry but it is annoying.

Oil and gear box pressures will raise and fall with engine speed. But shouldn't drop below 2bar-ish on idle on the engine.

Gearbox pressure I am not sure about.
