Scottish Specialists

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what options there are (preferably in or near central Scotland) for specialist servicing. It's a 72 month service on a 2011 car so basically:

Performance Optimisation
Engine oil & filter
Air filters
Engine coolant
Front & rear differential oil
Gearbox oil

I know there is Alex Noble but they quoted £1300 which seemed a little rich. A specialist, garage-r in Paisley has been mentioned and they are in the region of £850 but there isn't much in the way of reviews that I can see. Does anyone have experience or other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Hey mate, am in Scotland and I normally use JM Imports in Newcastle which is a bit of a drive but the service is really good and your roughly 750-850 for a 72 month service.

If you want to stay in Scotland then I would recommend Garage-R I have never used them but I know Matt and he will look after your car and he knows if stuff.

Apart from that there is not much other places in Scotland am affraid. I have used HQ garage in the past for a 48 month service and they are located in Dalgety Bay but I would prefer to use a independant specialist if I were you.

Hope this helps

I've always used Nobles. I take all my own fluids and bits and the prices aren't so ridiculous when they're basically charging for labour.

I'm now outside 7 years so less inclined to use them and would have no issues going to Matt at Garage-R
