Carkitcompany front + rear camera fault

I have the front and rear camera kit with the handheld remote for switching inputs. Suddenly the remote has no response and I can't get the front camera to show or the remote no longer overrides to show either camera when I'm in anything other than reverse.

The reverse camera still shows when I engage reverse.

Anything specific I should check? I've checked the wiring under the bonnet and that all seems ok.

Batteries in the remote?

Sounds like everything is working other than remote to receiver communication.

I discounted that because the red light on the remote still illuminates when I press the buttons.

Is there a switch box or something that could be faulty and not responding to the remote anymore?

Remote signal could be very weak but still enough to light led.

Takes very little current to light an LED, much less than what's needed to transmit the required signal.
