power FC commander dim screen

has anyone had any luck replacing the OLED screen on Power FC hand commander? It's gone very dim. completely impossible to see in daylight. brightness settings are at 8, 9 makes no difference.

Iirc the fcc4 oled units have a light sensor , worth checking ?

Buy the new version it's waaay brighter

Don't believe you can replace the screen

Matty, I believe the EL is newest version, which is what's on the car currently.

Thank you

I did intially think it was a light sensor issue, so I tried to cover and flash light into the sensor. No difference. I guess all that is left is disassembly.
