For drag strip only then the 888's will be better especially on a hot day, personally I prefer MPSS's because they are better in other ways for day to day use, less road noise, hardly any tramlining and very good on the drag strip also but purely for the drag strip the 888's will grip better, a friend of mine has tried all three MPSS's, cup 2 's and 888's and the 888's produced better grip but also will put more stress on the driveshafts, prop and box because less spin so something has to give Derek.
