Yo,

Got an email from sumopower about this, and normally wouldnt bother looking at 'another gtr exhaust' But thought I'd take a look as there is a video, and I think it sounds really nice, meaty, deep raspy, and burbles nice on take off..... What do you think??? £2.5k + VAT tho?? hmmmm

Ultimate High Performance 1000PS+
This exhaust system was designed to reduce the exhaust restrictions to an extremely low level. The target was a racing specifications vehicle with over 1000ps engine output. The maximum pipe diameter is 101.6mm. The exclusive design pipe after the stock secondary catalyzer eliminates the restriction created by the stock flange and increases the engine output to a higher level. Sound level and tone are tuned to deliver comfortable racing exhaust note.

* Sound level 109dB when using with HKS GT1000

About HKS muffler

*1: About silencer shell type of Silent Hi-Power
TYPE-S/Oval silencer for noise reduction.
TYPE-H/Round silencer for performance.

*2: Main material in the component figure.
SUS304/High quality stainless steel.
SUH409/Stainless steel commonly used for stock exhaust.
*3: About center pipe
Diameter of center pipe is the portion that has the largest diameter. (Excluding silencer and tip.) It is the condition with stock suspension.

*4: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
The data is basically the condition with stock suspension. However, please understand that some items have data with low down spring or ride height adjustable suspension kit.

Caution: Hook, bracket, stay may be changed without prior notice.

** Exhaust noise level at idle.

Sounds quite like my mate's Gtr, he has a stock exhaust with Miltek Y pipe and rear silencers cut out and replaced with straight pipe, approx £300.
