Question BCNR33 Reimax N1 cam cover baffles

Has anyone used, or know anything about the Reimax N1 cam cover baffles? They seem like a better idea than the Mines cam baffles, as they use metal wool rather than sponge, which I've read can break down over time and end up in the engine! I thought about getting the Reimax set when I replace my cams, but can't find any info on them.

Cheers!

Is it just the small brackets with the steel wool?

Wouldn´t it be better to just replace the sponge with steel wool if thats your concern?

Yes, that's the ones.

I wasn't sure which was the better design, the Reimax stuff doesn't seem to get as much attention over here, seems to be very popular in Japan though. There's very little in the way of info or reviews.

They both function the same however Reimax use a 2 piece bracket over the mines (If that makes a difference)

The metal internal mesh/wool is better than the foam due to it not breaking down later on in life.

I personally think the Reimax one is better and will be getting it for my car

Reimax also used to make parts for Nismo so I'm assuming quality is top notch

Thanks Azyzz, yes that was my thinking too! Some very nice stuff from Reimax, just seen their Group A cams too, which I think were used in the 400R?
