R32 GTR Catch Can

Hey,

Looking to buy a catch can for the 32.

I'm looking at the Mishimoto ones as I'd like to get it this week and not wait for one coming from JP. Also, the cars at a friend's garage getting mot'd, serviced etc so would be ideal to get this fitted while its with him.

Is anyone running a Mishimoto catch can?

And which one should I get, they have a few different ones and I've searched the forum and still am not sure which one I should be getting.

https://www.mishimoto.co.uk/automoti...atch-cans.html

Thanks
Shaks

I was looking at the Mishimoto compact one since it's small and universal but tbh the design is pretty mediocre. I guess you can't go wrong since it's just 100 quid.

The only best catch can I've come across is the Radium engineering one, it looks well designed and very well made.

In the end have just decided to design my own machined from Aluminium, used to design oil systems in a past job so pretty confident I can design something better.

We have used this Vibrant model on a few R32's recently. It fits perfectly in the evap canister holder. Swap the valve cover fittings for AN, and good to go.

The vibrant one looks quite good.

Question:why do some come with 2 ports and others with 3?

3 ports are two inlets and one outlet that way, on a RB26 say, each cam cover has its own inlet and one outlet to the single PCV

I used this one, double baffle and plumbed it in the same as the NISMO catch can.

This is what I'm leaning to. Will get Matty a shout for a price. Unless anyone knows if I can get on from the UK?

Better dig deep then, and doesn't include postage and import duties

I've started getting Nismo bits from the Yahoo Auctions, new but you can get them a little cheaper and can avoid the import and duty fees.

Yes, can be. I've used buyee.jp before but some items they will not ship. Also some sellers will send items out internationally.

I've used both Buyee and From Japan and prefer From Japan.

They have an excellent item checking, packaging and shipping process and allow the added benefit of adjusting the item values on your shipping invoice so you can avoid the import fees.

Very easy to use and highly recommended!

What coils are you using? Have you noticed a difference?
