Rubbish kids names

What is it with kids names these days. The name tags on the clothes pegs at my daughter's nursery read like the cast of game of thrones, where did it all go wrong!

Vee
Skylar
Taegan-Flo

Poor kids. Massive parental failure to be different. Collective indivuality falls into the general genre of "shit names"

Anyone else with any corkers?

Could be worse, what about Frank Zapper's kids, Dweezil and Moon Unit!

Theyíre amusing to a point but itís not the kidís fault theyíve ended up with a lemon of a name. What I find really obnoxious are celebís who have given themselves a more edgy moniker.

Dave Law - Jude Law
Ralph Fiennes (pronounced Rafe)
Laura Hollins - Agyness Deyn

That last one has to be the most pretentious of the lot, worthy of a treble WTF? with sauce and a flake. Why didnít her parents just call her Tiffany-Jayde from the outset?

Skylar is not a bad name is it?

My son was called Turbo for a few weeks until we decided on a name we both liked... I was convinced reluctantly to change it to Nicholas in the end.

I like the fact that Sunderland FC have a guy called Max Power playing for them.

Heard a lovely young lady call her daughter "Tequila" recently. Also heard "Mckenzie" for a young girl and "Caledonia" also for a young girl.

I struggle to understand thought process some times.

Iíll keep my eyes peeled for some new ones, but Iíll use one coworkers ďfamilyĒ for example. Current wife- Star- ex wife - Sugar - I even asked if those were just nicknames. He assured me they were their birth names on their IDís.

Zapper? PMSL

Unit is Moon's middle name - she was the first "unit" of the family.

Dweezil added his name legally from his given name of Ian Donald Calvin Euclid after he discovered that the hospital he was born in refused to register him as Dweezil.

They have a brother named Ahmet Emuukha Rodan and a sister named Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen.

Sorry. Life long Zappa fan here.

I had a young patient whose name was spelt "LUCCI"

I called her into my surgery over the PA system pronouncing it as one would say "GUCCI, " that is as the Italians do with "CCI" sounding like "GOO-CHEE"

So I pronounced he name "LOO CHEE".

She came in in a huff. Her dad then said she was upset that I had pronounced her name wrong as it should be said "LUCY"

I quickly corrected him and suggested she should be upset with her parents for being mongs and spelling her name wrong.

After all my name is spelt "DAVE" but is pronounced "BRIAN"

****ing morons.

I had someone work for me a couple of years ago and one of his sons was named Ole (apparently after a footballer) but he pronounced it Olly. Not everyone knew this and it turned out the teachers in his school had been calling him Oh-lay which I found hilarious as he only found out when he went to a parents evening. He even had the cheek to call them thick bastards because of it!
