R34 GTT with OEM GTR Body conversion

Hello

Advertising my very reluctant GTT for sale

I already run 1 other car, I have a 4wd Skyline project i need to finish and shes just not getting used so decided to sell on to someone who will enjoy her.

Mapped at MGT Racing, Has a mega spec with all quality parts, Big Brakes front and rear and Big single Garrett GT3076R via a 6 boost and 44mm Tial ex wastegate

Running 432bhp and 362LB Ft torque @ 1.1 Bar with graph

Only needs 1.2mm head gasket to go 1.4 bar and should see 500bhp i reckon easily

Genuine R34 GTR body conversion with the oem panels apart from the rear quarters being aftermarket but have all been properly fitted and sealed inside the arches, not just blended over.

Heres the link to the ad:

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...ersion/9289517

I have the full spec on a document so i can happily email it over

Currently dry stored since last MOT but runs A1 and very healthy. Always puts a smile on my face when she comes on boost with that screamer!

Any questions either PM here or call

£23495 ovno

Thank you

I obviously let my fully forged running 600bhp fresh import R33 GTR vspec go way to cheap if this is what a GTT is commanding. (£4K more expensive)
Nice looking motor dude but imo way over priced.

Not constructive at all mate, stupid infact.

If you actually read the advert theres GT Brakes on there that are 6k alone, not only that there proper oem GTR panels were used which I'd estimate to be near 4k, then theirs a proper full respray that would have cost 6K+ (thats 18k right there), R34 GTR stuff commands strong money... thats even if you can get hold of them.

And R33's are bloody crap anyways.

Couldn’t of said it better

R32 R33 and R34s are not priced accordingly to each other but to there own platform

There’s was a time where R32 GTR’s could be had much less than a Forged R33 GTST but times change, values rise and fall

GTST R33 has now become bottom of the value ranks

The only GTR fetching major money is the R34 unless you have an N1 R32 or R33 400r tucked away.

Even R35’s are approaching high 20’s

4wd or rear wheel drive is preference, not a price decider

There’s a big following for each and comes down to what your looking for

Yes advertising on the GTR forum may raise a few eyebrows but I just want to get the car seen in the right places

Good stock GTT’s are fetching £14k

Medium modded hybrid turbo GTT’s £16-17k

Heavily modified top mount cars with link G4 ecu’s, uprated diffs suspension and top specs etc £19-20k upwards

This car has a link G4+, genuine GTR body, updated kaaz super Q, 6 boost fully top mount and GT brembo brakes so I think I’m in my own market GTT wise

If I didn’t have the GTR body and GT brakes I’d price at £20k

So in theory, you are getting a £9k body conversion and £7k brakes for an extra £3495

I think I’m asking more than a fair price tbh

I'd have this of you in a heartbeat bud, if only I had the P's.

The work thats gone into this is phenomenal, unlike cheaper crapier, frb wonky GTR converted GTT's, that ask 20k. It's apparant this was supposed to be a keeper for sure, hence why you put all your blood sweat and tears into it, just shows with the amount of money/work thats gone into it to make it look the way it does (and no doubt go the way it does). I can tell your a guy whos serious about fitment, as all your lines are blooming perfect... I guess it helps spending thousands on all them silly Nissan 'GTR' fixings to make sure it line 100%.

I read you've got a new 4wd GTT, good luck with you new project mate, no doubt its going to be a budget GTR... to your spec.

I spent approx £15k on my 33, forged, link G4, gtss tubbie. It also had f50 Brembos and a Tomei zorst, doesn’t mean it’s worth £35k because I put all that money blood sweat and tears into it.
Time will tell on your value when it’s still for sale in 6months time.

I’m trying to be constructive by saying it will not sell for £24k with the spec. There is a mega specced 800hp R33 series 3 gtr up for only £2k more than yours is advertised for right now.

Sell the breaks separate and put the car up for around £18k is being more realistic.
Just saving you months of no sale.

I’m on the lookout for another skyline now, 32 33 or 34, gtt or gtr it doesn’t bother me much as long as specced right, I wouldnt even entertain yours at £20k let alone nearly 24k.
I’m sorry if this sounds rude mate just stating facts.

It does look great and would be a cracking skyline for someone, but at a more realistic price.

Thanks pal

I think the cars priced appropriate

The GTR body alone is worth its weight in gold and no-one can say they prefer the standard looking GTT over a GTR body

Yeah we spent hours in the body shop adjusting the lines so everything looked great

The person who buy's this car will know what their buying and what it has, and also what it cost to build.

If your after an R34 GTT manual, the spec on this doesn’t come any better

Yeah I have a 4wd R34 i'd like to do a project on now hence the sale

Thanks ***x1f60a;

How is it constructive dude... there's a big diffidence between a unreliable 800bhp car vs one with half the power... not to mention this being the better platform'd R34, not even a comparison really.

I am not saying just because you spend x amount on a car makes it worth more, just outlining the potential money he has pumped into this incase you was unaware... or for somebody going down the GTT-R Route then they can see it priced up.... done right... not dodgy botched arch jobbies lol.

So you have a crystal ball & now, knowing that this car won't sell for months lol. Even if hypothetically it doesn't sell months later, the prices are only going 1 way. Nobody cares if you would entertain this at 24k, if you don't like the price then walk away, its a f/s thread not a discussion thread. Like I said, if I had the P's I would have this of him. If you feeling so bitter about letting your car go cheap then start a rant thread and people can comment, this is just crapping on this poor dudes thread trying to sell his car.

Not rude at all, you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine.
Prices are only going one way yes, but many many good JDM cars are not selling, people are just not prepared to pay what people want.
Iíve been looking for a new liner since September, Iíd say 80% of the cars I originally saw advertised back then are still for sale now 2/3 months later.
Some, even on these pages have been for sale months and months.

Like I said, looks a lovely 34, can tell itís been well cared for with a no expense spared attitude. If it had forged internals a decent Ecu with a good map/figures Iíd be tempted at that price.
Good luck with the sale though.

I understand what your saying but your still comparing an R33 to an R34

R33 are the least desirable platform and values for R33 are lowest in GTR and GTST form

And R32 GTR’s are now soaring as the USA can have them prices are competitively rising

R34 will always be the most expensive and the one people think of when they hear skyline which is why values are rising. when someone wants an R34.. an R33 won’t cut it whether it be GTR or GTST forged engine or not

If this was a GTST R33 with a GTR body kit and I was asking more than a R33 GTR then fair enough but I’m not

R34 is in the R34 market, period

Heavily modded R34 GTT’s fetch the same as an R33 GTR currently, some fetching more depending on the spec

This isn’t a hybrid and a few bolt ons

It’s a full top mount car with all the best parts for this car

Like I said if the car didn’t have the GTR body or brakes I’d list for £20k

Iv seen ones selling for the £17-18k with half the spec mine has and no GTR body or big brakes

Most do GTR 4 pot brembos and EBC Discs at most or an F50 front 4 pot kit it your lucky but these GT brakes are top dog

This isn’t an EPRacing GTR Body kit either

It’s oem GTR parts from NISSAN
Side skirts alone are £1000 new and the front parts aren’t even available anymore

If you want to question value..

Take a standard GTT value say £15k and add a link G4+, a decent top mount turbo kit, decent coil overs then an uprated diff and the labour to do all the above and map the car. Your already over £20k

Then add GT 6 piston front and 4 piston GT rear brakes which are much more valuable than F50 and rarely come available used

Then add a genuine GTR body conversion £7k parts + Labour + £3-4K respray)

Now you’ve hit well over £37k and you still have handling upgrades to do yet and wheels, tyres, interior mods, exhaust,

If you don’t think it’s worth £24k then fine, keep it to yourself. I’m not asking for opinions on what people think it’s worth or I would have done a post.. what’s my car worth

I’m offering the car for £23k truth be known, complete

But il consider £20k and il keep the brakes

I will get it trust me

Might not be this side of Christmas as it’s winter but I’m putting the feelers out just in case

I only need 1 buyer

Everyone wants a car lower than what’s its up for. It’s a game we all play because we love a bargain but I will hold out for mine

If it doesn’t sell, I have a lovely investment in storage

I’m not desperate to sell, just would like to go to a good home

Already had some good offers outside here but a few include a part ex Which I don’t want so.. the moneys out there

Il just be patient

Just to say that there are absolutely no problems with selling GTTs on here, it is not solely a GTR forum.

Also for sale threads are not for debate, so let’s leave the guy to sell his car. Which looks fab btw

Hello

No course not, wasn't because of that at all. It had only been on about 4 days but with a combination of pistonheads listing it in the wrong section, the few low ball offers on here and me needing to get this R34 4wd project going it got me thinking

Why spend all that money and waiting tracking down R34 GTR body panels again when I have them in front of me, same as the brakes.. il just transfer it all on the new project and readvetise the GTT with a standard body and oem brakes, as il not lose as much money on it then so that's my plan now

I should get £16k minimum for the engine and turbo spec it has considering light modded ones are fetching £14-15k

I appreciate everyone has their opinions tho

Wasn't knocking R33 GTR's by the way was merely saying that out of the 3 generations it's always R32 and R34 I hear people talking about and longing for

I'm sure R33's are great in their own way and tbh all skylines are amazing cars anyway, you just like what you like

I didn't like R32's at first but now I'd love one tucked away in the garage for a retirement fund ***x1f642;

Sorry for the late reply, never got this notification ***x1f44d;***x1f3fc;

Did you use gtr oem rear quarter panels?

Good luck with the sale I’d be very tempted to buy it but unfortunately not currently in a position to at the moment. I did a similar conversion a good few years back, turned a silver gtt in to gtr bayside blue with all oem parts inside and out and event went as far as putting an r34 gtr engine in. I sold it for £16500 but dam I do miss it now maybe some day I’ll get another ***55358;***56606;***55356;***57339;

This particular car had amazing rear quarters which were oem'ish +50mm but looked bang on though... his new conversion will have the oem rear Quarters tho.

Hello,

I used all Genuine R34 GTR panels and parts except the rear quarters. They were on back order at the time and we couldn't wait for them, so we went aftermarket.

These are 50mm wider so they can use up to 11J wheels on the rear if wanted.

Iv removed the GTR body off it now and the brakes as its being transferred to my R34 4WD project i'm building. I'm doing a complete Forged RB25 NEO conversion, Oem GTR body on it aswell and As V Spec ll said.. I'm going with oem rear quarters this time as it'll be cheaper and more authentic.

We spent many hours of labour fitting the 50mm ones and id never do it again.. was a nightmare getting them like they are now. Plus we fully sealed them and made them look factory.

The 50mm rear quarters are being left on the black GTT when its sold and the R34 GTR side skirts will stay on also as they match the lines, but the front end will be standard GTT, Rear bumper and light covers also GTT.. (not sure how they will look with the quarters being so wide - but its just so we can sell the car painted and presentable).

Performance part spec will be:

- Kaaz 1.5 way Super Q mechanical diff
- Comp clutch stage 5 clutch and light flywheel
- Meister R adjustable coilovers nearly new
- Driftworks Adj Tension rods
- Driftworks Hicas lockout
- Whiteline front and rear sway bars
- Conceptua wahlbro fuel pump for upto 500bhp
- 52mm Rad
- FMIC rated to 450bhp, unbranded
- Standard NEO RB25DET with standard turbo etc

So the car has a good base for a hybrid setup or they can go the whole hog like i did and big single turbo it.

Il be advertising the car for £16k ono when its for sale shortly

Which i think is reasonable

All the above parts havent done 800 miles

Thanks
