Steering wheel stitch cover ... £1k for a wheel? Nah!

So I thought to myself, the steering wheel is a bit thin, and a bit boring. Buy a fancy D wheel, or something a bit more ... more.

For £1000! No thanks. So I did this instead

1E7A1C29-4628-43B9-8475-4F0A51500794.jpeg

Itís real leather, and it makes the wheel a bit more chunky. Great for my long fingers. And if I say so myself, it donít look half bad.

£5.68 off eBay. Result

That looks excellent - nice one

I'm actually now considering getting one myself just to try and preserve my own steering wheel!

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Funny thing, I actually bought one through Amazon first of all. It said black leather steering wheel cover, in the ad. It wasnít black, and it wasnít leather. So I used it for practice. The advert for the one you see in the photo, from eBay, had the exact same photo on eBay, as the Amazon one. But it is lovely smelly black leather. So soft and supple. I like it

Yeah but they want your original wheel too. They go for circa £450 on eBay, and I keep all my original bits.
