Climate control issues

Hi All
I have done a search but to no avail. My heater only blows hot air when set to 30C anything else is cold, this happens with both aircon on and off and when dual is activated and deactivated.
Other threads have similar issues with only blowing hot air but my issue seems to be the opposite.

Any ideas what this can be? It's a MY17 car.

Thanks

Check your water level, if the coolant level gets low the heater matrix doesn't fill. If you open the small rad cap closest to the engine you should be able to see coolant, if not top it up and check the level in the header tank.

There is a temperature control actuator(motor) in the heater box which controls the flap, that might be jammed towards the cold side. It's under the glove box, but if your car is under warranty get it checked and replaced.

So, coolant levels look fine an I spent a few hours driving in the car today to have a proper mess with everything. Everything appear to work as is should apart from the face that to maintain room temp in the car I need to set the temp to 27-28C, the temp does increase slightly from 28-30C and decreases from 27 to 25.5C but below 25.5 there is almost no noticeable different in temperature.
Given coolant levels are OK does this still point to the actuator under the glove box?

The car has been to Nissan in Manchester twice now to have this issue fixed and they keep re calibrating the bloody system but to no avail. They don't seem to know what I am on about when I mention the actuator. Does anybody have a part number for it please so I can be more specific?

Are you taking it to Nissan Manchester because it's still under warranty ?

My advice is:

a) If it's still under warranty then it's down to them to fix it - don't waste your time doing their job for them.

b) If it's not under warranty then take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Its under warranty but last time Nissan had it for 48 hours and did not fix it, if the part is cheap and easy to exchange then I'll just pay out of convenience as dealing with the main dealers is a PITA. If its not that cheap then it will have to go under warranty but they need pointing in the right direction, hence the need for a part number.
Im in Cheshire so Litchfield are a bit of a trek for something so minor.

I bought my from Nissan Manchester and they were a shower of shite. I took it back for them to look at the brakes and they basically span me pile of crap - they spoke to me like I was some kind of cretin. They even wanted to charge me to look at it !

My warranty issue was that the said there was nothing wrong with it - I disagreed but in my case it was a no cost issue (I just had different pads fitted when they needed them and put up with it sounding like a clapped out London bus ! So you could argue I did not follow my own advice.

I never let them service it either following that performance.

I'm also in Cheshire (near Chester) and I take it to ACSpeedtech in Birchwood, so that can't be far away for you.
