Launch Control Settings

Now, my cars at 700hp, and will be going higher soon - with built box and r888r tires

Want to know what people run for launches?

3,750RPM?
what boost? etc.

Thanks

Iain would probably be the best person to answer that.

youll need to play with the settings and see how it goes.

Options available to you:
Launch RPM
Boost by gear
Boost off the line (BOTL)

I ran mine at flame and thunder in October. It was my first launch and I went for;

Launch RPM - 3500
Boost by gear - 1st: 1.6 BAR
Boost off the line (BOTL): 0.9 BAR

Which all proved too much and the car lit up. 2.2 60ft which is 0.4secs off a reasonable start and generally considered to be worth a 0.7/0.8 sec improvement in time at the quarter. I ran a 10.4 at 145mph

I didn't get to run again due to rain, but after looking through my logs I was going to run the following settings:

Launch RPM: 3250RPM
Boost by gear: 1st - 1.4 2nd 1.8 3rd: 2 BAR
Boost off the line (BOTL) 0.4BAR

I find the road grips better to be honest. on runway days and the road I used to just select 4100rpm and didn't have any of the other stuff and the thing used to launch really well. Go figure!

Experiment is all I can say.
