Selling Advise - Stage 4.25 or standard

I'm thinking of selling my GTR and trying to decide if its best to return to full standard or sell as it is with Stage 4.25 with full KR body styling?

I have kept all original parts that came off the car.

I was looking for standard when I bought mine last year but couldn't find any that were completely standard and ended up buying the best I could find (I knew I wanted a CBA though). Mine is 4.25.

I think in years to come some people might want the original parts as the car gets "classic" status - yes, I know it will take time! If you've changed the body styling too, presume you are going to change those parts back to make it standard?

I do think having the option to change the car back to standard (i.e. has all the parts) will make your car more attractive to some buyers.

yes, I could put back original, front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, spoilers etc... And sell all the carbon separately. A lot of hassle but I paid around £4K for the styling & fitting upgrade.

I guess my option would be to advertise it and see how it goes, and throw in all the original parts, which are taking up room in my garage :-)

I think that selling at 4.25 will be fine. This isn't a bolts-and-braces modification job and many go to this stage anyway.

You may want to consider changing the CF bits back to standard as that is more subjective and you may get more money selling the car at 4.25 with standard splitter etc. and the CF parts separately (you are unlikely to sell the car for any more £££ with the CF bits attached - not unless full panels - IMO).

I may have a friend who is interested if the price is right. Can you give me some details of your car and what youíre looking for?
