GTR Resale value - should I continue to stick with Nissan for regular services or do

I have a 2015 R35 with 48,000 mls on it (and love it) - I am planning to keep it for a few more years - what are your thoughts on sticking with the Nissan dealer for the regular services (and pay the extra premium) or will the value of the car be impacted if I go aftermarket and use a specialist to service the car going forward.

I would be interested in people’s thoughts when buying a GTR - does a non Nissan service impact the resale value of the car and make it less desirable ?

Go to a good specialist and you’ll be fine.

Specialist is fine. Or you could do as I do, and do it yourself.
Itíll be fit for **** all when Iíve finished with it anyways

TBH a REPUTABLE specialist stamp i'd say, is much more beneficial than a Nissan dealer in my book! (pardon the pun) mean's it's been serviced properly!

aka acspeedtech / litchfields etc

Go to a reputable tuner or specialist like Litchfields which is highly respected and recognised by literally anyone who owns a gtr or is planning on buying one, much cheaper than the stealers... Sorry dealers and ten times more knowledgeable and better service hands down.

I would value a full Litchfeild history above maindealer if I were looking to buy.

Mine is Middlehurt for 3 years then Litchfield for 7 years and counting. Would certainly use it as a selling point if I had to part with it.

I can highly recommend SRD who looked after my 35 for 7.5 years. Always fairly priced and always at hand to help.

I would agree, when I was looking to buy my GT-R, i much preferred having the Litchfield stamp there over a Nissan dealership one.

i'd say Litchfield has a better guarantee of quality over Nissan. i've been in a few and they never even seen a GTR before.

Always go for a specialist for the regular maintenance.
Extra oil changes can be done att home if you have the necessary equipment.
